“Private Jeep Tour of Sintra, Coast, Beaches and Cascais” is a private day in a classic Portuguese 4x4 for a party of 2 to 12 from €75 per person. The morning is the palaces from their viewpoints, with Pena 60 minutes and Regaleira 60 if you pay to go in; the afternoon is lunch in Colares, Azenhas do Mar 20, a short off-road stretch to Praia da Adraga 30, Cabo da Roca 20 and the coast road to Cascais 45. Fifteen Viator reviews at 5.0: listed with that caveat.

Starts between 08:30 and 11:30 at a free car park in Sintra, at a pastry shop for those arriving by Uber, or at the station car park for the train; ends in Cascais or back in Sintra. The operator advises one palace inside, two at most, so the coast keeps its time. Lisbon pickup on request. Not for children under 3, and not for travellers with mobility problems, by the listing.

Enjoy panoramic views while exploring the palaces and the coast of Sintra and Cascais on a guided tour aboard a classic Portuguese 4x4

Embark on a jeep tour through the Sintra mountain where in the morning, we begin by exploring all the palaces of Sintra, including the Palacio da Pena, the Castelo dos Mouros and the Quinta da Regaleira. On the way we will make stops at strategic viewpoints to enjoy panoramic views, where we will tell the entire historical context of each palace

In the afternoon, we continue to the coast of Sintra with stops at different beaches, including the Azenhas do Mar. You can choose from a variety of local restaurants for lunch, from traditional Portuguese cuisine to seafood restaurants, with or without sea views

We continue to Cabo da Roca and end the tour with a panoramic view over the entire coast of Cascais to the center of the Villa

Note: The decision to visit palaces is entirely yours, but it is not recommended to visit more than two, being the whole tour customizable!

I live in Cascais, twenty minutes from Sintra, and I love the place. Every figure on this page comes from the operator's own listing, read on 15 September 2026; the argument for or against the tour is mine.
