“Sintra Jeep Safari” is the tour that leaves the tarmac: after Regaleira, 90 minutes inside, half with the guide and half on your own, the restored UMM takes the forest tracks of the serra to Praia da Adraga for 20 minutes on the sand, then Cabo da Roca 20, past Guincho and down to Cascais station. Up to 14 people in the convoy, 5 to 6 hours from €79 per person, with the roof off in summer. Entrance fees and lunch are extra.
