Sintra walking tour
Our takeRoman Antonov, editor

“Sintra walking tour” climbs from Sintra station with a private guide: the castle’s archaeological site for 60 minutes, with the walls optional, then Pena’s park and terraces for 120, with the rooms optional, and Regaleira if your legs agree. Four to six hours from €28 per person for a party of 1 to 6; the tickets are yours to buy. Twenty reviews, all five stars: below our bar, listed with that caveat.

Meet at 09:00 outside the station’s main exit, across the road by café Cyntia, or at your Sintra hotel. The listing asks for a high level of fitness and advises against it for pregnancy, spine injuries and heart conditions.

From the operator

In Greenwalk's own words, from the listing.

With a local guide we walk up the mountain, stopping along the way to hear stories, learn history and take in the breathtaking views. It's a private, personal experience of Sintra, just you and the guide.

I live in Cascais, twenty minutes from Sintra, and I love the place. Every figure on this page comes from the operator's own listing, read on 15 September 2026; the argument for or against the tour is mine.
