Choose this for the Azenhas do Mar viewpoint and guided Pena rooms. Azenhas and Cabo da Roca each get 30 minutes. Cascais gets 15. Give it a miss if you walk slowly.

The starting total is €140 per adult before lunch. The company buys Pena and Regaleira tickets. Pay the extra €40 in cash or by PayPal on the day. The route can run coast-first when the 09:30 Pena allocation is unavailable. A late arrival can mean missing a palace.

    We stopped to take photos of the exterior of the National Palace of Sintra, the sumptuous casario of Sintra and the Castle of the Moors.

    Stop for amazing pictures of the lake and its castle as well as the most spectacular view of the Palacio da Pena from its exterior.

  11. Quinta da Regaleira

    House of a lord who belonged to the Masonry. Created a house with an enchanted garden that is a Masonic metaphor with caves, initiatic wells, labyrinths, Masonic temples and caves! A unique experience! The visit to this monument is the only time of the day when the guide will not be physically present, although all explanations are given by the guide before the group enters. There is no parking to leave the van less than 1.5 km and it becomes impossible to leave the car so far and carry out every journey with the visitors on foot. The entire group will be left at the entrance of the palace and picked up by the guide at the end.
